It clearly states that "cities at and below the prefecture level are encouraged to accelerate the elimination of restrictions on the entry of pickup trucks into cities, giving full play to the dual purpose function of pickup trucks." The "Plan" vigorously promotes the consumption and use of new energy vehicles, and proposes that no restriction on the travel and purchase of new energy vehicles shall be implemented in all regions, and those already implemented shall be canceled. Encourage local governments to provide support for car free households to purchase the first domestic new energy vehicle. Encourage places where conditions permit to offer discounts on parking fees and other aspects of new energy vehicles, and explore the establishment of pilot zero emission zones. In response to the modification concerns of pickup truck users, the three ministries and commissions have also issued instructions to establish and improve the management mechanism and technical standards of the automotive modification industry, and promote the standardized development of automotive consumer modification.
In addition, the Plan points out that it is necessary to actively promote the upgrading of rural vehicle consumption. For rural residents to scrap three-wheeled vehicles and purchase 3.5-ton and below trucks or 1.6-liter and below displacement passenger vehicles, local suppliers can provide appropriate support if conditions permit, and actively play the role of chambers of commerce and associations to organize and carry out "automobile to the countryside" promotional activities to promote rural vehicle consumption. At the same time, we will vigorously promote the early phase out, renewal, or export of diesel trucks operating under the national emission standards of Grade III and below. The introduction of the "Plan" coincides with the previous purpose of the "Seminar on Promoting the Development of the Featured Consumer Market for Pickup Vehicles" held by China Pickup Network in People's Daily. Pickup policies are favorable, and the environment and supporting policies for the use of pickup vehicles will be further improved. New energy pickup trucks, pickup consumption in prefecture-level cities and cities below, pickup modification, and rural purchase of pickup trucks will usher in the largest favorable policies in history, China's pickup industry is about to usher in a greater outbreak!
